Chelsea...it's really weird and scary to wake up and for a few seconds not know where you are.hmmconfuse
Even though you're in familiar surroundings you don't recognise your room or the
furniture.
It must be like having memory loss.hmmconfuse

Chelsea...Have you never had that experience where you wake up and wonder 'where am I?'

I think everyone gets that 'where am I?' experience just that Darcy seems to have had an extreme version.
It's most probably the mind playing tricks in between us sleeping and
waking.

Like you say Kim the mind does work in mysterious ways!biggrinwink

That was a great movie!

My experience was now that I have had a few hours in pondering...like you would feel if your soul was put into anothers body with out knowing that it happened until you awoke.  But it was my body, so I am curious as to why it felt like that.  Maybe my soul was wondering during my sleep and that feeling was it returning??? confuse  But still, why would it feel like I was looking out from someone elses eyes? evileyehmmconfuse

As soon as I read your post Darc I thought of 'Being John Malcovich'!biggrinwink

if you believe in it, there is something that i read about once called "astral projection"  where your soul travels out of your body.  you might want to read a book about it and see if that is a possibility.  The someone else's eyes thing is unusual though.  it actually sounds cool.

Evening Darc!smile

I've had quite a few experiences where I wake up and think ''where am I?'' but it's
only lasted seconds rather than minutes and I didn't feel like I wasn't in my own body.
Interesting 'Being John Malcovich' experience you had there Darc...thanx for sharing it with us.smile

Morning gang.  Last night I had something weird happen...Three times.  All of a sudden I sat straight up in bed (from a sound sleep).  When I did, I stated "Where am I?".

That is not the odd part.  The odd part is that when I did wake up like this, it was like I was not in my own body, not looking thru my own eyes...but someone elses.  And being as it was like I was a stranger in my own body, I did not recognize my own bedroom.  That lasted for like two or three minutes and then I knew I was infact in my own room and skin.

Such a different feeling when it feels like your inside a body, but its not your own and your looking out thru different eyes.  I really do not know how to describe it, other than it felt like I was not in my own body.  ?????

What say you, Vixens?
