Financially embattled actor Nicolas Cage sold a two-bedroom, three-bath home at 6266 Mulholland Highway in Hollywood for $1.375 million to movie producer Cassidy Harrison on Oct. 30.
Cage, through his Han**** Park Real Estate Trust, purchased the 3,480-square-foot home for $1.8 million in September 2005.
This property is one of the many that Cage, who the Internal Revenue Service claims failed to pay over $6.2 million in federal income tax in 2007 and has filed a federal tax lien against property he owns in Louisiana, has unloaded in the last few months. The actor, who has recently starred in "Knowing," "National Treasure: Book of Secrets," filed a $20 million lawsuit in October against his business manager, Samuel J. Levin, alleging negligence and fraud.
Cage recently had a home at 5100 Spanish Heights Drive in Las Vegas go into foreclosure on Dec. 3. He paid $8.5 million for the property in September 2006. Cage, who won an Academy Award for his role in 1995's "Leaving Las Vegas," reportedly owned over a dozen homes as recently as 2008.
