Nine people -- including some crew members of the Nicolas Cage movie The Sorcerer's Apprentice -- suffered minor injuries early this morning as a result of a car accident near the film's Times Square set, according to the AP. The driver of an SUV unrelated to the production said that she collided with a parked car while attempting to steer clear of a taxi, sending both vehicles onto the sidewalk, where crew members were sitting. The victims were taken to the hospital, and police are investigating the incident.
This was actually the second accident this week involving The Sorcerers Apprentice: On Monday, two people were treated for minor injuries after a Ferrari crashed during a chase scene.
