Oh that's a shamecry, I knew she had been ill for some time that's why she left Eastenders, but I didn't know she died, she was a good actress in all those you mentioned,  my thoughts and best wishes go out to her family

For those of you who are not familiar with Wendy she was one of the original stars of British soap Eastenders and played Pauline Fowler for more than twenty years. She also starred in some much loved British comedy shows and films such as Are You Being Served, Dad's Army, On The Buses and the Carry On films.

RIP Wendy.
