I don't know what you'd call this....coincidence?...anyway this is how it goes...
When we first moved to our new flat last summer we had to go back to our old area to finish up some business. We had to get a bus which took us through an area of South East London called Brockley. Brockley has a famous old fashioned dance hall called the Rivoli Ballroom and this particular day as our bus passed the ballroom we saw a film crew outside along with a London black taxi and a Rolls Royce. I thought no more of it until last night when I was watching an episode of the new tv series Minder which stars Shane Richie. In one scene Shane and the actor who plays the minder went into the Rivoli ballroom and when they came back out the actor playing Minder got into a black taxi and Shane got into a Rolls Royce...turns out it was those scenes that were being filmed the day we went by on the bus! Also...in a scene inside the Rivoli Ballroom Shane's character, Archie Daley, is talking to a clairvoyant played by Steve Pemberton - who played the Ripperologist in another of my favourite tv shows ''Whitechapel'' - and Shane's character says to Steve's character ''I know you, you're Colin from C*****d!'' - The area we moved to last summer!
