That sounds really weird, maybe it's some sort of premonition, and for you to remember it so vividly, must honestly make you wonder if it's really going to happenhmm. I wouldn't want those kind of dreams, as you never know if they are some kind of warning, that you can actually see into the future. Maybe mine was just as the small quake hit, exactly at the same time, as dreams may only last a few minutes or a few seconds, funny how some dreams stay with us, and others you just can't remember them at all. It's as though the most important dream, we seem to rememberaww

You know having dreams to do with earthquakes and accidents is actually a good thing. Many people have saved their lives by following these premonitions, including a case with the Titanic. The would-be passenger kept having nightmares that the ship would sink and so avoided going on it and in turn it probably saved their life.

I've had my own share of death related nightmares; I was shot on a train in a nightmare that probably took place over ten years ago and yet I still remember it very vividly because in this particular nightmare, I actually felt the bullet go in. You know how normally, the dream kind of stops just before the part that's fatal leaving you with enough information to guess the ending? Well, my dream just went right on ahead and let me feel it.

And let me tell you, even though it was just a dream, it HURT! Luckily though, I have yet to encounter a real life re-enactment of that dream, which is probably a good thing. aww

I am interested in science but find it limited within its own paradigms. And it is not as open minded as it should be smile.gif being a bit of a 'mystic' myself, and being an energy worker, i'm more interested in the energy body, the energy world, the life energy in all living things and their interconnectedness to each other, which to me is a very real part of life. So I am very aware of phases of the moon, and totally believe how it affects us all not just on a scientific level, and I really do believe we as human beings have sadly not developed an amazing potential, within each of us. I am not talking about religion. I'm talking about spirituality. And it really isn't way out there, its very real and everyday, each living thing has a life energy and every human is capable of perceiving more than just one reality, or the so called 'Real world', of having sense other than the obvious ones. It is a dimension of human 'being'.
Science can be beautiful but it is limiting wanting everything to be legitimized or proven before it is considered 'real', especially because science isn't even looking sometimes, or it is looking with closed eyes or is in itself limited. After all the nature of discovery is based on the unknown and unless you know what you are looking for and how to perceive it, how will you ever see it?

So trust you intuition Scorpio, feel the flow inside and let it guide you. And although it is mystical and magical, it isn't weird or mysterious, atleast not to me! But then, maybe the eclipse has made me mad!
I've had 8 years of meditation and energy work every day atleast 5-6 hours a day with only one or two exceptions, and maybe that has given me a profound insight into what is actually 'real', although I'm sure others would say I'm not living in the real world! To me, they can have most of it! Because it is an illusion, most of the 'real world' is not about what is important.
It does seem with events such as the earthquake, people get a glimpse of perspective, about what is important, but soon slip back into a kind of insular vision.
Einstein can have the last word.

'the most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and science'.

Well one thing is for sure, I deffinately won't be howling at any full moonsbiggrinbiggrin, but I do understand what you say Lula and Rosemary, that the moon can influence our minds somehow, which I know does sound strange, also I'm really stressed at the moment, that's not helping either. But for some unknown reason, the tremors were not felt over this side of London (east) mostly North London and beyond, so I would not have felt them during my dreamblankstare, unless for some reason, my mind was just tuned in at the time, like a radio signal that I picked up on the earthquake.
Oh hell, I just don't knowhmm, to be honest I don't like dreams like that, I would hate to dream of a disaster or crash if you get my driftcry especially fatal onescry

No, it's supposed to be scientifically proven that the moon can make people go bonkers, so it's not just the mystics. Although don't ask me where to look for the research because I don't know; was just told by a friend. Mind you, I'm not saying that you're crazy scorpio. awwsmile

I think most likely, you would have had it during the earthquake and not as a premonition because it's too much of a coincidence. You were asleep @ the time so tiny tremours might not have been able to wake you up, but they can affect your subconscious. It's like when you're busting to go to the toilet and you keep dreaming of trying to find a working loo in a public place. If you had had the dream earlier in the week, it would be like a premonition but not on the same night.

I'm Rosemary by the way (just so's you know) - the username has just undergone some surgery.biggrin

It could be the lunar eclipse that has made you feel that way Scorpio. I know many people are cynical, but even if you forget about the mystical side of things and just think about the moon on a scientific level..it effects all living things.
I have been having strange dreams and sleep too, and my emotions have been over the place!
I remember reading about the effect lunar eclipses have on us, apparently around that time for months it can cause quite a few big changes in peoples lives.

That's amazing Scorpio! It sounds like you were somehow picking up on the energy of the earthquake somehow, your sixth sense really tuned into that! And I believe our sixth sense time travels which is how we can pick up on future events.
I think you should trust your feelings about having psychic ability Scorpio, have you thought about developing it? I think we all have it somewhere but we've kind of gone off on a different tangent as humans and all things psychic are seen as a bit weird, or even scary.
Some people seem to be more naturally attuned.
With eyes like yours I reckon it's in you.smile.gif

As for your stars.. Te he, maybe dinner with an italian stallion is coming your way...lucky lady! wink.gifbiggrin.gif

The weirdest thing happened to me, which now makes me believe that I do have some sort of physic ability.aww

I was told this morning that an earthquake had hit Lincolnshire, Which isn't too far really from London, about 3 to 4 hr drive.
But the funny thing was, I fell asleep round about midnight, and had the most weirdest dream ever, I dreamnt that my house had small tremors, tiny earthquakes, nothing major, and that I was in them. The dream seemed so real, and I thought nothing of it, until this morning when someone told me about the earthquakeashamed
So whether or not, the dream was happening at the time of the earthquake, or before, or just after, that I will never knowhmm, so I couldn't tell if it was sort of a premonition or a warning or just a dream exactly at the same time when the earthquake happened.
That has never happened to me before, so I wondered why it happened last night, also my stars have been saying some weird things lately, like this one which was in the News of the world on Sunday

Scorpio

Your prize chart is at its strongest, so instead of watching a tv show, you will be a contestant. The love wish on your mind for up to a year can turn real. An Italian meal is your date with destiny.

The bit highlighted is the most fascinating bitbiggrinbiggrin
