Lula...I've met Paul McCartney.
I met him in 1979 at Capital Radio here in London when he and Wings were promoting their album Back To The Egg!

I too have a wide variety of music taste, much thanks to Nic's movies. Buying his soundtracks and listening to the music in his films has widened my music liking:
Foo Fighters Five for Fighting The Beatles Red Hot Chili Peppers Sting Coldplay Queen Guns n Roses Bayside The Fray
I love the Beatles and used to be a fanatic , their records dominate my collection! I've also got all of John Lennons and most of Paul McCartney's records. If you looked at my cd's and vinyl you would see a right old mix! Most of the Pink Floyd albums(their The Wall is my all time favourite along with the Beatles Abbey Road and The White Album), David Bowie, Duran Duran (i was really into them from age 11 when I say them in concert I loved Simon Le Bon!),Madonna, Prince, Abba, Jimi Hendrix, Arethra Franklin, Eminem, The Carpenters , Sister Sledge, Mary J Blige, Missy Elliot, ella Fitzgerald, Oscar Peterson, Miles Davies, Nat King Cole... a whole load of underground dance music including acid house from the late 80's to house, trance, techno, and drum and bass from the late 90's, some classical stuff my favourites including chopin's piano concertos mozart's requiem.. I find there is different music for different moods.

I think the Beatles are still big to us over here, as to what Elvis is to the States, he is still a legend over there and here, and likewise to to the Beatles
