I find it interesting that he's into a lot of the New Age stuff AND, he's not afraid to broadcast it - which considering his age and his profession and... Let's just say that a lot of other famous actors would not go there.
Things that Rosemary and Nic have in common:
Internationalisation (as opposed to globalisation) - an interest in other cultures and languages, A soft spot for odd facts: like the raining fish episode in Next (which apparently came from Nic and not from the script), an interest in New Age stuff.
Things that we definitely do not have in common:
work ethic - I'm not a lazy bum, but let's just say that I'm not a workaholic either, comic books - they're just not as big in Australia as they are in America, Marital status - he's been there three times and I've been there none.
However, for someone who's been there and done that, he's got a sense of ordinariness about him that you don't find in a lot of actors. I would liken him to Robert Sean Leonard who talks in a very ordinary fashion and is very frank about everything (during interviews).
How many of you feel a 'connection' with Nic? I don't mean in a deluded ''send for the men in white coats'' way, lol, but in the sense where you liked the same things as Nic BEFORE you knew he liked them. ie:
films, books, places, food and football teams etc! Lol. I'm sure it's pure coincidence but the more spiritual amongst you might think differently?!
