Wow....amazing that someone who suffered from such problems could channel that energy into comedic genius.
And my.....what a truely gracious man he must have been to take the time to personally send you a greeting. I admire men like that tremendously. I don't think they know just how deeply they can touch a fan with their generosity.
You are truly a lucky woman. First Spike and now Nic being so gracious to you! WOW!
It's nice to know that NICe things do happen to NICe people! :)

Thanks for the explanation, we´ve never heard of Spike in my country. I love British humour...
You are a lucky girl, Corelli: you´ve managed to meet all your heros in person! Corelli wrote:
Spike was a national treasure although he wasn't actually British...he was born in India of Irish parents but was always denied British citizenship which we all thought was disgusting considering the rubbish they do let in!
Spike Milligan sadly died in 2002 at the age of 84.
I was lucky enough to meet Spike twice and even got a type written letter from him and a signed photo! (It was typewritten by Spike himself because he used to type all his own replies to fans!)
Sadly Spike's comic genius was down to the fact that he suffered from mental problems for many years. I adored the man.

I´m having a hearty laugh over here! Of course I had no clue about who this gentleman was (Spike Mililgan), so I googled him... You´re so right, Corelli!!
ya know....I really do like Nic best when he let's his hair down......and is simply a normal man....not a poster pin-up. Granted, he makes one hell of a poster....

Many a good tune, played on an old fiddle, they say the older you get the better you get And my youngest daughter is living proof of that (23 year age gap) So men are much better when they are over the hill but not past it
You, my dear Corelli, are the exception to the rule it seems. My bubble was burst with disappointment one to many times for me to 'believe' any more.....
I guess you could call me Jaded..... :(
TripleB wrote:Oh Corelli.....I confess....I still do have my moments of unbridled lust for Nico.....only I try to keep those yearnings firmly under control these days. A girl can't lust for the unattainable all of her life, can she???
Yes she can...I'm proof of that! Lol.

But, I guess on this forum, it's okay to post any and all of our poetry, right?

OMGosh.....I can't believe it.... but Mara, who used to be on Toncas actually found some of my old poems that I used to post over there. These poems date back....cripeolas....to 4-7 years ago. I thought you'd enjoy reading some of them.....
HAWAIIAN ECSTASY
Oh Nico, Nico, come join me For some sensual Hawaiian ecstasy With your guiding hand, please, please teach Me...what pleases you as we lay on a black sand beach
Under the sparkling stars and the sky a midnight blue And... when you're done teaching me, I'll teach you How to satisfy me with me with all of your soul Our efforts completely sating us with a loving toll
We'll fall asleep under those stars so bright Waking wrapped together in the cool morning light And if no is watching, you'll again slowly enter me Coming together in Hawaiian ecstasy.
