Glad to hear you got through it Kim!smile

Great pics and I see the orbs in all the pics...not bad for an ol' sceptic eh! Lol.
Actually...I'm not totally sceptical with all things paranormal and supernatural... I'd prefer to say I'm on the fence, have an open mind rather than I do believe or I don't believe!biggrinwink

Thanks ladies, and Johnny i would love to hear if you have any ghost stories to share, also if you know of any haunted places that need a investigation please let me know, as the group would love to hear that, as we are always looking for new places to go. We dont mind the travelling, as next year some of them are hoping to go to Wales, they seem to travel all over the place, so if you can stir up anything for us, we would be really grateful.
I will try and load the pics again, i'm having a spot of bother with uploading them from photobucket, i'm not to sure if i am doing it correctly or not, maybe thats why you only see the red X, let me know if it does it again, then perhaps lesley or johnny can tell me how to load them from photobucket to here. Thanks

Enjoyed reading this, very ineteresting stuff! Ive always been interested in the supernatural and stuff like that. Infact I do have quite a few genuine spooky stories to share when I have more time if you would like to hear them. Its easy to be sceptical, but theres....something..im sure of it.

I was OBSESSED with the Amityville case when I was younger though I believe alot of this was a hoax now, Some good sites related to it though

Happy Ghostbusting!! Keep in touch about it and watch out for Mr Stay Puft, The Marshmallow Man! Lol. I remember both films very well...........

Thanks Raven, to be honest i needed them at first, i think it's because you don't know what is going to happen, but then as the evening went on, you begin to relax and get into the swing of things.
Personally, i would love to see a ghost, and not just the orbs on pics, ok granted i have a sense of smell, and can normally pick up on those, but believe me some of the smells are disgusting and strongbleh, i would love to be like the other guys and see themashamed
I'm on their website now, posted as trainee investigatorbiggrin, so i have a lot of work to do, to become a full investigator, but i don't mind, it's worth it in the end as i love what i'm doingsmile
I dont think my family see it that way thoughbiggrin apart from my youngest daughter who is only 11 and wants to come along and be one as well.....lol

I forgot to say that the pics contained an orb in each, the first one the orb is on a yellow electric box, and the second one is i felt as though there was something in the tunnel with us, and it was an orb coming towards us...lol, so at least i could say they are my first spirit encounters at coalhouse fort...lol

I survivedbiggrinwink, it was really good, i enjoyed it didn't feel scared at all. Also i thought i would be tired, as i didn't have any sleep during the day, maybe it's because i was drinking so many red bullsbiggrin.
Also the places we were in, was so dark you could not see your hands in front of your face, these couple of pics i took was with the flash, but it was pitch black.
The orbs were the only spirits i could see, as the other guys are trained to see the ghosts, i have alot of training yet...lol although i did smell themhmm perfume, leather, burning smells, and an icy blast of wind and rooms getting really cold. So it wasnt a wasted journeybiggrin

I'm off to the investigation at coalhouse fort in exactly 1 hour, a bit nervous, and tired, as i tried to catch a couple of hours sleep before i go, which i couldnt, either because the noise, or as i'm feeling slightly nervouscry
I've got plenty of red bull and pro plus, so should hopefully stay awakeyawn
If i survive the nightfuriousashamed, i will post on here, probably tomorrow night. If i get any ghostly pics i will post them as wellfurious

I used to visit Stonehenge alot, its not too far from where I live. When I was little my parents used to take me there for picnics, then when I was older I used to go with friends. And yes, it has got a strange mysterious feel to it!

It used to be free in those days and you could walk right up to the stones and touch them. Now, English Heritage have fenced them off so you have to pay over £5 to get in to see them and can't get anywhere near close enough to touch them!furious.gif
You can see the stones from the road without paying but they're quite far awayfurious.gif
If you're ever coming down this way let me know!smile.gifsmile.gif

Oh i forgot to mention, i would love to visit stonehenge, that would fascinate me as well, it's supposed to be so enchanting, mysterious, they should have it as one of the wonders of the world, as nobody really knows how it ever got there, critics have their own speculations, but deep down it's origin is unknown, i think that's why it has it's own special power, one day i will get there to visit it, i will put that on my 1001 things to do before i die...lolbiggrinsmile

I'm going on my first investigation on Saturdaysmilefurious, Coalhouse Fort, known to be very scary, very old, something to do with the french invasion, still has the old guns etc, Kerry my team leader, told me it was the scariest place she has ever been to, lots of spirits and things that go bump in the night...lol. as i have to be there from 8.30pm till 6.00am i'm taking plenty of red bull and pro plus with me to stay awakebiggrin and to make sure i go to the loo in pairs...lol, i just hope that i can stay awake for the journey home as its near Tilbury essex, mostly motorway, so i need the pills to keep me awakeyawn.  If you guys see me post on Sunday, you know i survived it...lol, i'm taking my camera/video camera with me, i dont want to miss a good pic...lolfuriousbiggrin, here is a pic i took once, at a graveyard, you can just make out a face, to the right of the pic, and above the face, looks like a person in a hat! and the other one is orbs (spirits) in my garden!

It's great that you can share your interest with your daughter. I think my daughter, who is nearly 18, is quite embarrassed when her friends find out that I do healing and readings!smile.gif

Thanks Raven, i've always had a interest in things like that, i know some people may find it strange, or afraid of things they dont know, but i feel at ease with it, i've always had a fascination with spells, ouija boards, anything like that, even my 11 yr old loves coming to the clairvoyance evenings, she even asked me how old you have to be to join this group. So it wont be long before she follows in my footsteps...lolsmile

Good luck, Kim. It looks like a very interesting group to join.smile.gif

When I started training to do crystal healing about 10 years ago it was considered really wacky! But I knew it was something I really wanted to do and now I'm so glad that I stuck with it. I've met some lovely people through doing it.
Always listen to your heart and follow your dreams!smile.gifbiggrin.gif

I hope Nicky would be pleased to know that he's bought so many people together from all over the world and that we've all become friends and some of us have met up.

If it wasn't for Nic I would never had met you, Bon, Loew, my friend Lynn and all the girls and Johnny.biggrinwink

I agree with you there 100%, it's nice to have something in your life that interests you, as this forum is a good way of enjoying ourselves, and to make friends and to have days out like we do, it brings people together who share a mutal interest in our Nic, same as this paranormal thing for me, there is loads of people who join, make friends and share the same interest, life would be so boring if we just sit on our backsides and do nothing, life is too short to be boring...lol

Kim...wether it's a full time job or just a hobby at least you're doing something you're interested in and that's good!biggrin

Nicky and running this forum is my hobby, or should I say passion!smile
I thought that seeing as I was passionate about Nicky anyway why not dedicate a forum to him where other Nic fans can meet up, make friends and have fun.
It's given me a lot of pleasure and, hopefully, you're all loving it too!

I say whatever you're interested in go for it because if something gives you enjoyment and pleasure it will make you a happy bunny!biggrinwink

biggrinlol, i never thought of that, i will do, can you imagine that,? i know they visit some places, as they have their own website and they tell you the places, and some maybe castles. the web is www.southernparanormal.com and they show the teams who investigate, it looks really interesting, and the fact that i'm not afraid of anything like that, so i would love to make that a full time job, but alas, it's only a sort of hobbie thing.

Just wanted to let you guys know...lol, i told lesley last night, that my new interest now, is that i'm in the process of joining a team dedicated to exploring haunted places, you know people's houses, old buildings, if the owner's request it as they may find them haunted. I've always been fascinated with the unknown, and i have experienced ouija boards, and i tend to visit the clairvoyance nights at our local spiritulist church, and i've been called a few times. It tends to be my grandfather, whom i was really close to. I think it's being born a scorpio just before halloween, that it's somewhere along the line, i do have some physic abilities, not much but a little. Nothing worries me, about standing in a graveyard at midnight with my camera and video camera, i have done that many times, and i have some good pics to prove it. So here's hoping i get accepted. My daughter said when her friends ask her  what i do, she will tell them i'm a ghostbuster...lolbiggrinbiggrinsmile
