RE: This is getting to be a weekly affair....

Hmmm.....Raven.....you might be on to something.

Ya know...it's really interesting how the mind works and how little things that happen during the day can actually set off some sort of chain reaction and show up in a dream that night.

You're right on about the materialism bit.   I love beautiful things, can truly appreciate and enjoy them tremendously but I don't put personal happiness or 'value' into them.  They are just things to me.  Beautiful things....but just things....nonetheless!

What a person 'has' doesn't appeal to me in the slightest.  It's what's inside a person and it's in appreciation of how a person has gotten to where they are in life that impresses me.

And what you said about running into Nic in a garden.....and then heading off on a train could signify a need for me (who knows...maybe him too) to get down to a more natural, honest, calm atmosphere and to live life simpler.  I know that I am, most definitely, happiest outside on a beautiful day surrounded by water, trees and nature.

Anyhoo...thanks for the dream interpretation.

Sometimes when a person dreams they can't for the life of them understand what the dream might represent.  It's like looking for the forest thru the trees....It's good to have someone point out what a dream might mean....it get's the little grey cells thinking!  Thanks again!

You sure do have alot of dreams about Nic, LucyB!!smile.gif

Could it be that this dream is about your thoughts on materialism?
I was thinking about your comments about the Newport Beach House in the other section saying that it didn't look very homely.

The stuff on sale in the mall in your dream are not the kind of things you find in everyday homes (not the ones I go in anyway!! lol) and give the impression of a stately home.

You bumped into him when you were in beautiful, natural surroundings. Perhaps thats saying that you'd like him to enjoy the simple, non-materialistic pleasures of life (?!).

The train could also symbolise 'taking him away from it all'.

Maybe!?

Ok....I had yet another dream with Nic in it.  I swear, this is getting to be a weekly affair!  LOL!

I was by myself shopping at some upscale mall.  I walked into a brightly lit China/Crystal showroom where there were dining tables set with all the latest China/crystal patterns.  I walked up to this sleek darkly stained teak type dining table.  The placemats were varied shades of reds, oranges, greens and all the tableware gleamed.

I had just picked up a really unusual and very heavy wine goblet blown in a square shape when in walked three other women.  They walked up to where I was standing and started talking to each other about Nic.  I just gave them a sideways glance, put my attention back to the goblet I was holding and then turned it over.  The price for the one goblet was $891.00 (weird how ya remember such details).  I gasped at the price and said to myself "No way".

One of the women heard me gasp, looked over and said to her friends....."Oh....I just used one of those goblets at dinner at Nic's house just last night".

I turned and walked out of the store.

Next thing I was outside under some sort of pergola in a garden full of greenery and statues (the type you might see in the Louvre or other museum).  I was strolling along enjoying the peace and quiet and had just turned a corner lost in thought.

Boom!  I ran straight into Nic!  Full body collision!

He said "Oh...there you are!  I was wondering where you'd went to".

Flash forward and we're climbing onto a train.......

End of Dream!
