This film was definatly something new for me, but it was very NICe....well actually it was bad what it's content was about, but it was a good exposure to what our world is really like down in that area
Yes...this is a very dark movie but brilliant all the same.
Nicky is in fine form as private investigator Tom Wells with great performances too from a great supporting cast including...Catherine Keener, James Gandolfini, Joaquin Phoenix and Peter Stormare who is wonderful as off the wall porn movie producer/director Dino Velvet.
The DVD of 8mm has a great directors commentary by director Joel Schumacher.
very dark kept my heart pounding the whole ride i felt like i was feeling the same disguist and anger right along w/ him and joaquin's performance was stellar aswell
