"Ghost Rider 2" will still feature Nicolas Cage, and he has great expectations for the "Crank" writing/directing team of Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor, who will help him take his character to the land of Dracula. The film may not be far enough along to promote at San Diego Comic-Con yet, but Cage was willing to discuss his immediate plans.

"I'm gonna have a meeting with [Neveldine and Taylor] shortly in the next few days," Cage told MTV News. "I'm excited to talk with them about it, and I'm very hopeful that with their enthusiasm and energy this will be an exciting movie as well.

The actor, who first played Johnny Blaze in 2007 under director Mark Steven Johnson, didn't mention anything about bringing Marvel's Dracula incarnation into the film, but he is psyched about seeing the real-world historical figure's castle.

"I'll be filming it in Romania, which is exciting, since that's where Dracula's castle is," he explained. Even if Ghost Rider doesn't fight a vampire, he may get to check out the scenery. "The Ghostrider has to ride up to Dracula's castle," he continued.

As for the "Crank" guys, Cage praised their previous work and hopes they'll be able to leave their mark on "Ghost Rider 2."

"They're brilliant with camera, and they make movies look new," he stated. "They have a way with camera that is unquestionably unique and is a signature for them, and I think that kind of energy for this style of film will take it to a different level."
