I'm sure you can't talk to much about the incident, but I read that the guy, Major Malik Hasan, who committed these terrible acts was Muslim and that he'd been in contact with Al Qaeda via email no.  News reports also suggested that the Army had been investigating this guy for over a year but it's unclear why any action had been taken.

Renee,
I have many thoughts on this, but you are correct in that I can not get into it.  Only time will tell in what is going to happen.

Today, the 11th of November, is Remembrance day here in the United Kingdom.

On the 11th hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month - the 11th of
November 1918 at 11am - world war one ended and since then we've remembered members of all the armed forces and war workers who have fallen in ALL conflicts since then.

Lest we forget.

Today was the memorial for fellow Soldiers killed by one of our own.  I am still overcome by anger and the feeling of betrayal and violation.  I can only hope and pray that justice...MILITARY Justice is allowed to prevail.

Rest easy Battles, be at peace now, your war is over.
