Does make you wonder doesn't it, could be numerous things why, surely not short of money to sell things that's for sure don't think the credit crunch has hit Nic, maybe he has plans of living here permanently and doesn't need all those properties now, as when he is filming in different parts of the world he only needs to rent, so maybe he is thinking ahead
I think he only has a couple of properties left by the looks of things, and it seems it's only the ones over here! unless he still has a couple left over there as well, but it does seem like most of his properties are going, even the boat did, just seems so weird that he is selling up most of the things, even some of his cars as well
did he also sell San Francisco? I don't remember reading that he sold that one. anyway, i didn't think he would sell the castle because castles are so cool.
Blimey, that's a wonder I thought he wanted to keep that castle, seems like the only properties he has now are the ones over here! wonder if he will sell these ones then, but then again I don't think so as it's his home now, that he loves it in Somerset, so keeps fingers crossed he doesn't
Nicolas Cage Sells German Castle, Mittelbayerische Zeitung Says
By Andrew Blackman
April 1 (Bloomberg) -- Nicolas Cage, star of movies including Leaving Las Vegas, sold a castle in Germany after abandoning a plan to renovate the property, the newspaper Mittelbayerische Zeitung reported.
Schloss Neidstein near the village of Etzelwang was bought by Konrad Wilfurth, Cages former legal adviser, the newspaper said, citing the lawyer. The castle, in the state of Bavaria, has 28 rooms and is surrounded by 165 hectares (408 hectares) of land, according to the Mittelbayerische Zeitung.
Cage bought the castle two years ago, the newspaper said. So far, only the outside of the building has been renovated, it reported.
