As for me I'm not against cosmetic surgery but I'm happy with what I've got but if I wasn't happy I'd go for it like a shot! Everyone tells me I have a cute little nose!
Lets see a picture, maybe I'll take your nose design!! Seriously, the doc asked me if I wanted a certain type of nose, and that I could bring in a picture and he would create that for me, but I just want my nose thinned out and a little perk at the end, like it was when I was younger.

It does cost a lot of money, but it was the Army who asked ME if I wanted the surgery in the first place (jaw surgery) and then promised further surgeries if needed to make me look like the Army posterchild of innocence, lol. And I do count myself as being blessed that I have been able to have this work done for free, but I put in 18 years of service to the us Military, be it active duty or National Reserve or the Coast Guard and I will have certain scars emotionally and on my body for the rest of my life from it. But I am proud of my time in service. (-;

Good on yer Darcy If it's want you want, go for it..lol I like the bit about nose keeps growing throughout your life...lol, I wondered why mine is looking bigger lately...LMAO. Just to think how much this would all cost if the army wasn't paying people pay thousands to have perfect teeth, jaw, nose, ears, you name it, I wish I could at times, got to admit though, all those black eyes, swollen faces but it's worth it in the end
Just got back from my appointment with an ENT doc, my nose job has been approved by the Army. I am scheduled for surgery either the first or second week of April. The reason I am doing is mostly...ok is fully Cosmetic, remember when I had that double jaw surgery in 2007? Well when they broke and moved both upper and lower jaws forward, it shifted my nose a twitch. Nothing that anyone would notice, except moi. They are going to fix and thin my nose out. Your nose and ears keep growing thru-out your life, and I want my early twenties nose back darn it!! So being the spoiled retired Army brat that I am, Uncle Sam is footing the bill. I'm teasing, I'm not spoiled, the surgeon who did my earlier surgery promised this surgery and my top lip fixed as its a tad thinned out and lopsided from that surgery too.
I almost chickened out this morning when I saw what one lady looked like right after the same type of surgery, worse than what I looked like after the jaw operation, two black eyes, nose looking like raw meat...YIKES!

people pay thousands to have perfect teeth, jaw, nose, ears, you name it, I wish I could at times,
but it's worth it in the end
