I know what you mean about the cheesecake chelsea, one of my favourites is New York with hot black cherry sauce, yummmy
Funny enough, this year we didn't have so much chocolates as we normally do, I tended to pick at the savoury things and dips, salsa etc and cheese, loads of it, I love my stilton or blue cheese, the stronger the better, not so great for your breath though great with the savoury biscuits, I'm not really a sweet person, if I passed them I would take one, but I won't sit and eat loads of them
I actually did not overstuff myself this year with food, though I did have a lot of cheesecake I can't seem to stay away once the desserts come out, haha
I think it's always the way, we always do, I've never heard of anyone not eating at christmas, the diet goes out the window...lol, and so do all our good intentional new year resolutions as well
I've also been stuffing away my favourite these last few days, which isn't very good for keeping weight down...lol "The pannetone cake" the traditional italian dessert cake, I love it, especially with butter on, sure going to make jeans tighter over the new year...lol Every Christmas I get one, sort of a tradition for me, hell why do these italians make such good food which isn't very good for our waistlines...LMAO

Mine was sort of hectic as I had everyone over for christmas dinner and evening, cooking for 9 was a bit busy in my small kitchen by midnight I was ready to flop into bed Next day wasn't as bad, but still pretty hectic , then out visiting, another late night, still getting over it But I was a good girl as I was driving around most of christmas I didn't hardly touch any drink apart from a small glass of weak wine, as being on driving duty, so I didn't touch any of the hard stuff, not that I missed it really as I've not really touched the hard stuff for a few years now.
I will give Lesley a ring in a couple of days or vice versa to see how she is feeling, as we have an outbreak of flu over here, luckily for me I didn't catch it as it would have been a nightmare trying to cook sneezing everywhere
