True but it is a NICe dream nevertheless! It would be a very special to spend some time in such a beautiful peaceful place wouldn't it? Maybe he would consider and non financial exchange.... Perhaps lifelong reiki treatments and energy balancing from me..i'm sure all of us vixens could think of a few other treats we could offer!!

With rents as much as £1,000 per month in London I doubt you'd

I'm still not really clear on the validity of this, it's only by putting these two reports together that you can draw the conclusion, but I would have thought if Nic was selling one of his islands there would be alot more publicity...there is usually quite a buzz around any of his property deals, buying or selling!

I had thought that i had read once where he was wanting to build property on the island in the Bahamas. So it seems unlikely that he would sell it, but oh well.

I can see the attraction of owning an island fullstop, but especially for a celebrity, a place where there are no paps and total privacy. I wonder which island it is, the 1st or 2nd?

Do you think Nic would consider renting it to me for a month for say, 200 quid!?

a place like that could be very healing!

        He bought the first island after Johnny Depp - who also owns an island
        in the Bahamas - told him how beautiful the Bahamas were and said an
        island would be a good investment.

Do you know Lula, I haven't the foggiest...lol, I knew that he owned one, but as for 2 I dont know, if that is his Island he is selling perhaps he knows it's the right time for selling, and I know what you mean about that the Island seems quiet low in price considering some of the big mansions go for alot more, maybe it's under developed, although it has all those facilities, perhaps it just needs updating, modernising a bit, and having some buildings built, it does state that it has quite a bit of the essential facilities with it aww

Lol! I know what you mean Scorpio,! The buying and selling of islands is a little outside of my realm of experience lol!

under contract is a confusing enough status in the normal property market and can mean numerous things.
I know it is a hummungus amount of money, but I am suprised a whole island with those facilities isn't going for more than 12million dollars, when you consider a californian mansion can cost 10million. I think Nic bought it for alot less though, but I'm really not sure on this. Doesn't he own 2islands?!

hmm..weird! Have you seen in the second link the status of the island has changed? it now says Leaf Cay is 'under contract'!? yesterday it said 'for sale'!!
To be honest, I wasn't that sure myself because the article didn't explicitly state Nicolas Cage's island up for sale, it just named the island and in the link said it was 'for sale'!
And this morning it says it's now 'under contract'!

, it seems Nic is quite a savvy on the property buying and selling at the right moment, so maybe that Island will sell quite quick if most celebs nowdays are buying up nice little retreats for their hideaways biggrin

Apologies if this is old news, I do sometimes walk around with my eyes half shut! But this is the first I've heard of it. These two articles together seem to be saying Nic's island is for sale!
It does sound like such a beautiful relaxing place!
