RE: Night at the Museum

Well,Your feet really kill you at the end of the long workday in modeling and acting, but you feel a Great sense of accomplishment and its like a high!  I wonder if the animals come to life in that museum at night like in the film "Night at the museum"  STARRING Ben Stiller. (LOL). has anyone seen that film? ITS FUNNY..smile.gif

You're right Mgirl it does look like a velvet jacket, love it! smile.gif
I agree, when something is your passion, nothing feels like a problem and any potential hardships are not experienced in that way. Also, Nic has been in the business for an impressively long time, the hours and logistics of filming are probably so integrated into his being that it must have become a way of life.
I guess I just really became aware reading this article of the hard work that goes into filming, and feel all the more respect for Nic. smile.gif

Thats a Great picture! It looks like he has on a Velvet Suit. anyway Lula, Yes, they are hard and long hours for actors, but when something is totally your passion the time flies by because one loves and enjoys what they are doing  so much.  Great find, love the Picture of Nic in front of the Tasmanian Tiger.  smile.gifsmile.gif

oh yes I remember you saying that now Corelli. Ironic how much glamour people associate with being a film star when the job is tough in so many ways. Having to be a character and give it your all when you are jetlagged, still half asleep, and that's probably only the half of it! I remember seeing those pics around Primrose Hill filming, where Nic looked so tired, but he was still smiling' biggrin.gif

The filming we saw for NT2 here in London seemed to go smoothly but then they were filming very early morning in the paractically deserted City Of London! biggrinwink

That's true Lula, i agree there, must be a nightmare to shoot during the day with loads of kids around, well teenagers really, and the public around the museum during the day, so i suppose its best when everything shuts for the evening

i guess it would be impossible to film at the museum during the day.. Or maybe they'd just shut a part of it off. I've never been near or on a film set, so I don't have much of a clue of the level of disruption involved. Probably a lot easier at night though! I remember reading about City of Angels and Bringing Out the Dead filming being at odd hours too! smile.gif mind you, it sounds like some filming was done at Melbourne university during the day. They filmed in London in the day time for National Treasure Book of Secrets hey Corelli and that must've been a logistics nightmare! wink.gifbiggrin.gif

I agree, it's a wonderful pic in front of the Tiger!smile.gif Nic really gets to work in some very interesting places, at some very unusual hours! Lol smile.gif
I like what Proyas says about Nic, "there's so many guys these days that don't don't really create characters, they're almost themselves each time,''..."Nic fully engages with the character..and pushes it.'' He really is such an admirable actor.biggrin.gif
