That's the same as me, I tend to sing the song, with the wrong words at times, Like that song "I'm Blue" by Eiffel 65, the words go I'm Blue aba dee aba di or something like that, I start singing I'm blue I'm in need of a guy....LMAO, they sound so familiar the words. My youngest daughter used to be the same, she used to sing the wrong words to songs as well I think we all do it within some point in our lives
Cool, when I was in my teens I was singing along to Real Gone Kid by Deacon Blue and ahem............... I was singing "nebbing out baby" I had no idea what it meant but thats how it sounded to me, some years later I asked my friend what it meant and was told (through hysterical laughter) the words were "maybe now baby" oops!
The other one I misheard in Wendy's world was Deborah Harry's Maria instead of "A hundred and one kind of lies" I was merrily singing along with "A hundred and one candle lights"
Thanks Lesley Some can be really funny, and some are just plain stupid, i picked out a few of the best ones, I was thinking of trying to do one myself, but it's not as easy as you think, god knows how these guys managed to make them.
Just been having a look round you tube these past few days, and came across these misheard lyrics. Some can be really funny, especially when you listen to the original version, then try to picture a misheard lyric
These are just a few, there is loads more on you tube, all kinds of different music, some are really funny
