In a Ghost Rider interview write up in femail.com Nic said,
"One of my favourite movies is American Werewolf in London, and one of my favourite tonalities is horror and comedy. If you can get the two together its a great buzz. And I wanted to see if we could get that, or aspire to some sense of that".

American werewolf in Paris is a good film, but I think the London one is much better, still both good films, but the first is a great classic, I think it made alot of people wary about travelling on the underground just after that filmbiggrin
I don't think i saw those interviews you mentioned Lula, or about what he mentioned about the werewolf transformation, I will have to have a look out for that, as Lesley said earlier An American Werewolf in London is one of Nics fav filmsbiggrin

I agree with Kim...American Werewolf In London is the best one!biggrinwink

actually I'm not sure it was in relation to The Wicker Man, why i thought it was i don't know, maybe because it's sort of in the 'horror' genre.. I think it was the whole flavour of Ghost Rider and just the mixing horror with a sort of comedic element when he referred to American Werewolf in London. confused.gifsmile.gif

Did Nic refer to it in his wickerman interviews, seems to ring a bell, or now you've mentioned the transformation in american werewolf, perhaps he talked about it in relation to Ghost Rider..?confused.gif

Funny you should say that Lesley, I heard that somewhere maybe you once told me that, I can't remember where I heard it,blankstare
I love that film, got both of them on DVD, An american werewolf in Paris, is not as good as the first I think, although it's a good film, i still prefer the London one better, I just love the bit when he changes, as I think the music from CCR is great, great song and great movie, combines real well on that scoresmile
