Yes MGirl...I consider myself to be very lucky for having the wonderful chance to meet Nicky!
It's great he already has homes in England but if/when he moves to London it will be a bonus and I will be proud to call him an honorary Londoner!
I've never had a crush on any teachers but I went to private schools, with high school being an all girl school which i didn't really like. Corelli, just think how lucky you are, you met Nic in 2007 and in 2008 he may be moving to your area Thats so cool! Hes got lots of good fans in England.
Speaking of crushes on English teachers..I had one on my Junior High teacher and we became best friends after I left and he was my one true soul mate and we both did and still love each other to this day, but when I turned 18 and we could legally date if we wanted, we did not because we dared not risk ruining such an amazing and rare friendship. That was twenty years or so ago and we still keep in contact to this day. My nickname for him was "Mac" as his last name was Macdonald. He now has retired from teaching English, but has his own Dojang and is a sixth degree black belt in Tae-kwon-do in upstate NY.
Oh and for the records lassies, NOTHING ever happend between us when I was a teenager. LOL.

Mhmm, I'm not much of a coffee drinker myself, but I've seen the prices It's not something people really get everyday unless they've got a decent amount of money (or only spend it on coffee lol)
lol I've got more chance of finding a needle in a haystack, than running into Nic in London big place, got to be in the right place at the right time like Lesley was

I found them very easy to be honest...they weren't as hard as I thought they'd be! Most of it was English which I sailed through! Lol.

It's wonderful news!
Knowing Nic will be living in our city is fantastic!
Nic can't go wrong if he sends Kal to Eton or Harrow...both are excellent public schools...top brass ranging from politicians, Prime ministers and royalty from Britain and abroad send their kids to these schools.

Same here, i left school without qualifications as i hated school to be honest but i left as i passed an exam to get into the YTS scheme for LLoyds Bank, i was there 6 months, sometimes i feel i should have stayed there longer, as i could have had a decent job in banking, but to be honest it wasn't for me, when you are 16 surrounded by posh snobs etc, and you worked all hours of the day for £25 a week, you don't think at the time, your actions, but looking back now, it pays to sit it out We all regret some things in life that we should have or shouldn't have done
He's the only teacher I ever fell for...all the rest were old geezers like the old school types but Terry was young (I'd say he was in his early 30's), tall, slim, dark haired, good looking and sexy!
Falling for him definitely did me good because I was top at English and although I left school without any qualifications (I left school at sixteen and didn't sit any exams) I still ended up with some good jobs!
Oh yes, Rosie Webster now she was a naughty schoolgirl, I think we all did flirt somewhere with teachers in our younger days, i even done a car mechanics course going back about 8 yrs ago, and i fancied the guy there a friend of mine and myself use to flirt outrageously with him, and he knew it, and loved it, but it was all in good fun, nothing heavy
That's where my love for brainy, intelligent men comes from Kim!
Not only was he my teacher we used to get on really well and I used to flirt with him outrageously...although I wasn't as naughty as Rosie Webster! Lol.
funny you should say that, i had a crush on my english teacher, as i went to the same school that my youngest is in i bet it's hard for a guy to teach in an all girl's school, they must have the ability to shut out their emotions and feelings, especially how some of the girls dress today,
What a superb article! Thanks Corelli! There is so much going on in it! I did ok with a comprehensive school, still got to university! I can totally understand Nic wanting the best for his son. There are obviously advantages to going to a school like Eton. The people I've met who went there did end up in prestigious jobs, but I would not say they were happy at Eton or now. Nic is already giving Kal-el an amazing education by showing him different countries and cultures, and he himself must be an amazing teacher, being so intelligent, attentive ,imaginative and inspiring. I just feel that Nic himself is a thinking man and is constantly opening himself up to ideas, and just by being in that environment, Kal-el will become a very intelligent young man.

I went to two all girls secondary schools because we moved out of the area where I went to the first school.
Looking back I can say I had a pretty good education but I enjoyed the second school the best because by the time I was sixteen I was head over heels in love with my English teacher!
His name was Terence but we all called him Terry...he's now headmaster at an all boys public school in Kent!
I'm the same with Lesley about not having posh schooling, but i got by on our british teaching system, my youngest daughter goes to a state run school, so it's not posh or paid for like a private school that Nic wants to send Kal, her school is an all girls school, and academic wise, it has very good ofsted reports, so i'm hoping she does well there. So imho you don't need posh schooling over here to gain good qualifications, as Nic says our british teaching is second to none, and i agree with him
Thats great for Kal-el to go to such good school! Will Weston his other son be moving there too? I'm sure Nic will still be in the USa some if his other son is in the USA. I'm sure that England is beautiful, though.
Great article from the Daily Mail and a NICe huge pic too! This interview must've taken place when Nic and the cast were over here to promote NT2 just before Christmas!
I'm moving to Britain because it has the best education system in the world who knows? My son may end up at Eton. At the moment I'm living between Somerset and California, but next year we'll move to London permanently because the British teaching system is second to none. My father was an academic and I believe education is the greatest gift you can give a child. Kal-El will be a truly international man. His mother is Korean, his father is part German, part Italian-American and his teachers will be British. If he wants to go to Eton or Harrow when he's older, then that would be great.
WAY TO GO Nicky!!!!
I never went to a posh public school but I still had a wonderful schooling under the British school system!
