I hope so, he could use some of that. Long live to the R.E.S.P.E.C.T. for people´s boundaries. Corelli wrote:

Good thinking Mara! We have a responsibility to not give out any addresses or phone numbers concerning the man so as to help keep him and his family safe and also to afford him some privacy!

SORRY... I quickly deleted the link because in a second reading I realized it contains driving directions to the very Castle... I think Nic deserves some privacy (if such a thing is possible with his status)... But if you´re still interested I will email you the link privately.
Sorry again. Should have read the whole damned thing thoroughly before posting.
To indulge your fantasies even further... here you have the real state agency´s 12-page brochure of Nic´s place in Midford with all particulars and beautiful pics of the perfect setting for such a savoury picnic (LOL).
He must have moved in already.According to some locals posting in a mesasge board, he and Alice have been spotted asking for directions to get acquainted with the surrounding area.
It's weird.....Every time I read 'Midford Castle', I think of a place I once read about called the 'Milford Track' in New Zealand...................I bet both places have wonderful hiking areas!

Thats so cute how he likes to have picnics. (like the article said:" he was itching to have a picnic on the grounds") Remember how he had also said once that he took Alice on a picnic on their first date somewhere in the Grand Canyon area. Thats so cute and romantic how he likes to have picnics. How sweet!
Raven.....I'm simply flabberghasted that the day before you left on your holiday, you sent me a picture of Castle Combes!!! Not to mention that I dreamt of having a picnic lunch with him on some fairgrounds last week!
Another Do do do do do moment.
Oh well....as I told Corelli when she went a' Nic hunting.....if and WHEN (cuz you will) you do run into him, tell him Bonnie said hi! LOL!

Hollywood actor Nicholas Cage was spotted in Castle Combe this week.
The film star was believed to have been staying at the Manor House Hotel as he met with Chippenham estate agents to sign the deeds to a new property near Bath.
Cage, famous for his starring role in Captain Corelli's Mandolin, was seen at the hotel several times last week.
The sightings come as he was set to seal the deal for the Midford Castle Estate near Bath - which was marketed by the Chippenham branch of Humberts Estate Agents.
A spokesman for Humberts confirmed the sale had gone through and the new owner could not wait to move in.
The spokesman said: "The new owner came along to collect the keys last week.
"They were itching to get in there and have a picnic in the grounds."
I know how you feel Raven...so near yet so far. I had so many near misses in the past but I got lucky in the end and so will you hun because if he's in your neck of the woods sooner or later you will meet him! You've more chance of meeting Nicky on your manor as I found out!
Can you believe this?! I return home from my holiday only to read in the local newspaper that while I was away Nic has been staying at a hotel in a local village! I take my mum to that village every week for coffee and it's such a small place he would have found it hard to hide!! Just my luck!
