LOL! Now that is definitely ODD logic! But if it were true, I'll take the new castle called Midford cuz there's a place I've always wanted to go and it's called Milford. It'd be about as close to there as I could get! Not to mention, that I find the pics of the new castle to be quite lovely. It actually 'calls' to me. LOL!

I don't think we can even begin to comprehend what the life of a famous celebrity is like. I would think that they have everything done for them and it may be some what like a hotel experience. I'm very down to earth, if i ever became a celebrity, i would have a hard time having everyone do everything for me and a harder time having them know my personal business. I can remember seeing photos of Nicolas when he hung out with friends and seemed pretty down to earth. the pics seemed to be in his late twenties and through some of his thirties. I'd like to think that he is still a down to earth type person now, but who really knows....
My guess is that he's addicted to buying properties the way he used to buy cars. I suppose you have to invest your money somewhere but honestly.....I'd have a hard time rationalizing the houses. I mean....are ANY of them an actual home? Can you ever remember what you left in which house? Do they ever pick up your personal essence or are they simply spaces to wander around in like a hotel? Oh well.....it's wrong to judge when we have no clue what his life is like or know what gives him pleasure.

Academy Award-winning actor Nicolas Cage has bought the sprawling Gray Craig estate in Middletown for $15.7 million, a purchase price that ranks among the highest ever for a home in Rhode Island.
The 24,000-square foot, brick-and-stone country manor, on 26 secluded acres, has 12 bedrooms, 10 full bathrooms and sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean from its perch bordering the Norman Bird Sanctuary.
The sale was registered in Middletown Town Hall on Tuesday. Cages Han**** Park Real Estate Trust purchased the mansion from Mark J. and Becky Ruhmann Levin, of Boston, whove owned the property since 2000 as a vacation home.
Melanie Delman, of Lila Delman Real Estate, which listed the property, refused to confirm whether Cage is the buyer. Cages publicist, Annette Wolf, would not comment on the purchase.
The sale ranks in the states most expensive residential purchases, Delman said, eclipsed by the $17.15 million sale last December of the Miramar mansion on Bellevue Avenue in Newport.
When Levin, CEO of Cambridge, Mass.-based Millennium Pharmaceuticals Inc., and his wife purchased the estate for $10.85 million in 2000, it set a record for the highest price paid for a single-family home in Rhode Island. Whats really nice here is we have a guy that has his choice of everywhere in the world to live, Middletown Town Administrator Gerald S. Kempen said, joking that he wanted to apply to be Cages groundskeeper. He chose Middletown. It says a lot about this town.
Rumor has it Cage and his wife, Alice Kim, and toddler son, Kal-El, will use Gray Craig as a primary residence, Kempen said.
Earlier this year, the Rhode Island Airport Corp. approved a private helicopter landing pad for the lawn of the estate.
Cage has homes in five countries, including an island in the Bahamas, a mansion in Germany and multiple homes in the U.S. The British newspaper The Independent this week reported the Cage purchased an 18th-century castle in Bath, England, for about $10 million.
Scorpiolady, where does it say about his primary residence? Which house ?? That mansion looks amazing, but his other ones are too! He has bought so so many since he has been married to Alice. Does being married motivate him to buy many houses?
I know, i read that article about an hour ago, it was in my google alerts, how many is he going to buy why does he want them all surely not to live in them, and if you notice, it says in the article that the rumour is that this house is going to be his primary residence, that would be for tax purposes when he sells it as it is quite expensive that property, as he wont be hit hard for the tax on it
