i had read that online that it was about him, from a music magazine but it may have been a speculation on their part. I know of older people like in their seventies that call their husbands and wives daddy and mother but that is because they had kids once and they started to call each other that after that. I had never heard of that southern tradition, but its interesting. thanks for sharing it. in the song she says "and shes going to call you daddy like the rest of them, like me". (assuming that she meant that all of them called him daddy, and if it is about Nic at all, well, he's not the one from the south and the song makes it look like all of them called him daddy, even the previous women)
FYI it's not uncommon in the south especially w/ more wealthier types to call your partner daddy or mother it's looked at no different than dear or sweetie i've seen an interview w/ LMP asking if this song was about our nic she niether confirmed or denied have you guys ever been called anything in bed that creeped u out? once a guy actually said" oh flea you feel so good" yeah flea is anickname since the 5th grade not something i want to be called the "oh baby" maybe could of been a better choice

if you do ever meet a prince, such as Charles, William or Harry, you call him your royal highness first then after that you call him sir! But...in a walkabout or relaxed situation it isn't obligatory and as an American you wouldn't have to bow and scrape anyway! Lol.
You don't have to curtsey when you meet royalty in unofficial circumstances but it's a must for official functions! But...most people do it out of respect in any circumstance!
maybe if any of you see him in London you should call him "daddy" if u get a chance to talk to him. Seriously though, if any of you really do get to talk to him for a minute or get an autograph, you should tell him about this website or give him the web address. maybe he'll actually come to see it.
I have that elvis song, it's deffinately not that one, still, i'll keep looking, maybe i will find it sooner or later, if you do get the chance to hear it, listen to the words and see if you can hear what she is singing, some of them isn't too clear, that's why i wanted to get the lyrics so if anyone finds the lyrics Please post them on here in the mean time, i'm still searching

Okay, here's a thought. Elvis sang a song called 'LOVING YOU'. Could it be that LMP did a remake of it for some reason? Loving You
I will spend my whole life through loving you, loving you. Winter, summer, spring-time, too, loving you, loving you. Makes no difference where I go or what I do. You know that I'll always be loving you.
If I'm seen with someone new, don't be blue, don't be blue. I'll be faithful I'll be true; always true, true to you. There is only one for me, and you know who. You know that I'll always be loving you.

Strange really. I have both of LMP's CD and neither of them have a song titled like that. BUT....I do know that in Japan and other parts of the world there are songs on her CD's that were not included on the CDs released in the States. So maybe that explains it???

I listened to the song that the scorpions sung ' still loving you' and checked the lyrics, they are completely different to the words in the song that lisa sings, so maybe that is her own song, i could just make out some of the words, and it does sound like she could be talking about nic, if i can find the words i will post them on here The song she sings is the same title as the scorpions but different words. So if anyone gets the chance to listen to it or to see if they can get the words
Ok, i have to admit that if Nic ever wanted me to dress up in certain clothing or to call him daddy that I would. I don't see anything wrong with Role Playing in the bedroom, as long as thats ALL it is. Though it is somewhat interesting and strange- the words in that song, and then after that he married someone half his age. the song also makes me think about dominance as she said soon you'll have the next one on her knees. Or maybe she just meant they will have to beg him because he is the boss. i really don't know for sure what the song means. In one way it is a turn off, but in another way it sort of turns me on, too.
Make me fumble Make me fall Make my heart stop and start To tremble uncontrollably Let my eyes see fear make desire Keep those who long apart Forbid the kiss And leave us innocent Of the things some do in the dark
The things some do in the dark The things some do in the dark
Make me remember Make me forget Make my mind unable To force the body to do its will Let it be right for belief and denial To share a space in the heart and leave us only to imagine About the things some do in the dark
The things some do in the dark The things some do in the dark
Make me pretend Make me expect Things can go and come to pass Without trial or tribulation Let this life space and time Leave my body with permanent marks Faded scars and lines But not a single impression Of the things some do in the dark The things some do in the dark The things some do in the dark Let me be tempted Let me be torn But make my thoughts pure and not Morally corrupt in form Let us sleep tonight Let innocence lie in our dreams and secret hearts With burning desire A need to know and do The things some do in the dark
The things some do in the dark The things some do in the dark

Go away, little girl. Go away, little girl. I'm not supposed to be alone with you. I know that your lips are sweet, But our lips must never meet. I'm Dating somebody else, and I must be true.
Oh, go away, little girl. Go away, little girl. It's hurtin' me more each minute that you delay. When you're near me like this, You're much too hard to resist. So, go away, little girl, before I beg you to stay."
Oh, go away, little girl. (Go away, little girl). Oh, go away, little girl. (Go away, little girl). It's hurtin' me more each minute that you delay.
When you are near me like this, You're much too hard to resist. So, go away, little girl. Let's call it a day, little girl. Oh, please, go away, little girl, Before I beg you to stay. Go away. Oh, go away, little girl go away

What I mean is.......in a sexual relationship (unless you are having a bit of fun role-playing) I wouldn't ever call a man 'daddy', no matter who he was or what I got out of it.
It smacks of pedophilia to me.
And that, I find.............stomach churning!
A man who WANTS to be called Daddy in bed? YUCK! Um......I'd be constantly wondering what the hell was going thru his head.......I mean.....Geesh....Does he have a fetish for little girls? THAT....would be a huge turn OFF for me.
A little role-playing from time to time is okay.....but if it were a 'given'....NO THANKS.
CALL ME A PARTY POOPER! LOL!

I wondered that as well, i read somewhere that an ex girlfriend of his, said that during their sex sessions he would love to be called 'daddy' so i wonder There is another song she made, but i cant find the lyrics 'still loving you' i wonder if that song is for him as well.
I read online that this song written by Lisa Marie Presley is supposedly about her relationship with Nicolas Cage and that she wrote it when it was first over and she was hurt. thats what i read online. Here are the lyrics its called "Gone".
Lyrics: Gone
Well, what do we have here Daddy. The lights are quickly changing. Will I leave your heart along with the phone lines youre erasing. A spineless ending. Well, who would have guessed dear daddy. Turned out to be a coward. When I turned my back you cut my throat it bled for hours. Was that your power.
(Chorus) You, youre the lovely victim again. You, well your heart is breaking. You are the only one let down. Are you really now. Well, soon here well have dear Daddy with the next one on her knees. And shes gonna call him daddy like the rest of them, like me. How easy it will be Replacing me. And whats that I hear now Daddy youre blaming it all on me. Another she did you wrong and of course you had to leave. And the yes men will agree. You gave it everything.
(Chorus) You with the advisors in your ear. You did everything right its clear. I know I begged you to stay around. But Im gone now.
(Bridge)
Well, heres to you my darling leave. Youre stubborn and youre free and of course, right. I dont respect the way you leave. You can be no friend to me. Ill say goodbye.
