Thats  so cool, but i have heard so many times about films and then they don't always happen or it takes years. Look at Liberace. when will that happen?   I hope he does do this one and Liberace too.

I know I have no idea...I was just roaming through some websites and found this little blurb

Nicolas Cage Conjures Up Disney Magic In 'Sorcerer's Apprentice'

Oscar winner Nicolas Cage is to star in a live-action film version of Johann Wolfgang Goethes 18th century poem The Sorcerers Apprentice. The movie project will be Disney's second film inspired by the poem - it also provided the backdrop for magical Mickey Mouse movie Fantasia in 1940.

Cage's version of the movie is being envisioned as a fantasy adventure set in contemporary New York, according to trade magazine The Hollywood Reporter. Cage will play the role of the sorcerer.
