Wow. That is a nice house. But I have to agree with you all. If you don't have a family to make it a home it's nothing more than a glorified museum. But I thought I heard somewhere that he didn't buy that house for himself. I'll try to find out where I saw that. Probably in my sleep! I have become so lame brained since I became pregnant! No brain cells left!

Oh yes, I definatly see what you are saying Spice, and I agree...I wouldn't really want to live in a mansion unless I had the people to fill it....other wise as you said it's like a museum (or at least to me) and doesn't have the love that a nice small cottage may have

And Corelli I agree with you as well...I don't like to judge people by their status in the world either, it may get them noticed, but it's really what they're like on the inside not out that counts, right?

        Did I ever tell you?...a few years ago I was staying at the Las Vegas
        Hilton (22nd floor!) and I got into the lift (elevator) to go to the lobby
        when an American guy got in and tried to start a conversation with me.
        I got the 'hey, you're English' bit and he then proceeded to chat me
        up and asked me if I wanted to go 'party' with him.
        I kindly declined his offer and couldn't wait to get out of that lift quick
        enough!...Now if it was Nicky...!Lol

I can appreciate the beauty of architecture (even if I can't spell it.....lol) and I can very seriously appreciate fine furnishings and gorgeous artwork.....but a house that screams "I've ARRIVED" doesn't do it for me.

I always wonder if the people who live in houses like this ever see each other? Do their voices ECHO off of the walls because the rooms are so huge? Can people ever fill houses this big with things that really show their true selves? Or are they cold, museum, type places? How do you fill up houses this big with LOVE? LAUGHTER? The sound of LIFE?

Oh never mind....I'm babbling!

        To be truthful here hun...I'm as honest as the day is long.
        I like people for who they are and not what they are or what they do
        or don't have.
        I've had friends who are well off and I've had friends who are not so well
        off but that doesn't bother me.
        So long as I like someone and they like me that's all that matters.
        There are so many shallow people in this world who judge others by
        status and money but I'm not one of them.
        Sadly...the class system and snobbery are rife here in the United
        Kingdom.

To be honest hun for me it isn't about the fame and the goodies that it brings...like we all told that poster over at IMDB who asked if any of us would find Nicky attractive if he was a taxi driver...I love Nicky for him, not his fame and/or wealth.
