Yes, I think Clockwork Orange comes to a lot of minds when people look at the preview or pix from NEXT

Thanks for the info.......I was really dissapointed at the time when told I couldnt have it done. It was a UK firm called Optimax and I since get the impression they wont do the procedure if any complications..which is fair enough. If i went to a private hospital...BUPA in the UK i could possibly have it done...but....you have to pay in one go and not spread the payments like I could have done Optimax!


Dont know how bad it is, my auntie had it done at BUPA and both her eyes are affected by astigmatism.....so perhaps one day when I make my millions, win the lottery etc, find a rich widow etc i will have it! Until then its contact lenses.

Glad you got yours "zapped" ok

Glad ya like the name, Johnny!  A Ditzy Doofus is the way I've been feeling lately so I thought I'd go with the flow and rename myself....LOL!

And yes......when I said zapped, I was referring to when I got my eyes lazered.  I also had an astigmatism which was about 98% corrected during the zapping.  Is your's really bad?

BTW.......I will always remember the day I got my eyes 'done'.  I had traveled to Canada from the US for the surgery since that's where my cousin/eye Doc sends all his patients.  He came with me (actually was in the surgical room with me) and we two couples headed up to Toronto, about a 10 hour drive from where I live.  Anyhooo......I digress. 

When I came home the next day.......I learned that Nic had received his 'DOCTORATE' from Fulton University the day I was being 'doctored'!  LOL!  The date was May 18, 2001.

Weird the things that stick in your little grey cells.

DitzyDoofus! Great name by the way! When you say eyes zapped, do you mean laser vision correction? I really wanted this but couldnt due to stigmatism, so Im back to contact lenses.Just curious!

They just released the trailer for NEXT.  The movie itself is supposed to hit US theaters in April.  Enjoy!
