Hi MGirl,

I live in a suburb right outside New Orleans, so unfortunately we were affected by Katrina.  We had about a foot of water in our house, but we got all of our repairs done.  Compared to what some people experienced -- and what some are still experiencing -- I guess we were fortunate.

Hi everyone,

I've been lurking for a few days then I finally joined the board.

I had seen many of Nic's movies and have always liked his acting, but it wasn't until recently that I became a little more interested in him.  A few weeks ago, the movie "8mm" was on TV.  I didn't really know what it was about but I decided to watch it.  In spite of the fact that it was a gritty, dark movie, I really enjoyed it.  And I realized that the main reason I enjoyed was because of Nic.  I found that I could sympathize with him.

And just last week I'm channel surfing late at night when I find "City of Angels."  I had never seen it before.  My goodness, Nic grabbed my heart in that one!

So anyway, here I am!
