All I saw was a real quick intro....the star of Ghostrider and then Nic GROWLING out those four famous words...."Gentlemen, start your engines".
BTW, I had been putting off taking my daughter and her friend shopping while waiting to see the start of the race and after we saw Nic.....my daughter was like "geez.....you kept us waiting for that? Can we go now?" LOL!

What pi$$ed me off was...Channel 5 showed footage of John Travolta full faced starting the Daytona 500 a previous year yet all we got was an aerial view of Nicky under his big hat! Lol.
I don't know what American viewers saw of the start of the Daytona 500 but we Brits got treated to two blokes in the studio talking bull$hit and saying they were going to the race after the commercial break and a ''superstar''(Nicky) was starting the race but what did we get? A two second aerial view of Nicky saying ''Gentleman start your engines'' and that was it! I'm sure American viewers got to see more? I just emailed Channel 5 to complain! Lol.
