Ok, so there I was burning some fuel on the way too pick up the things to make gumbo (Crab claw meat, shrimp, scallops, etc) and I am still thinking about the sequel and in my mind fleshing it out.  And I think, "if Nic and Eva's charactures blend well and go over with the crowds, why not bring her back in the sequel....

The devil in a rage at Johhny for not being the evil Ghostrider, takes Eva's charactures souls in retribution and being the devil, takes said soul and flings it into the Hellbike, bringing the bike alive and after Johnny.  While GR realize who this new female is...can he recognize her soul and will he become what the devil wants in order to be with her again, even if she is now at night the HellBike?

I would love to see in a sequel where GR has fleed, gone awol and the devil breathes fiery life into the hellbike (a female with red hair, pale skin as my nickname for the bike is 'The bitch") who is sent too track Johnny Blaze down and meld the bike, which is kind of like an extension of GR back together with him and do the devils evil work.  what think gang?

12:00 AM, 12-FEBRUARY-07   Cage Is Up For Ghost Sequel

Nicolas Cage, who stars in the upcoming comic-book adaptation Ghost Rider, told SCI FI Wire that he's now eager to do a sequel, though he previously said he couldn't see it happening. Only a few months ago at a preview at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles, Cage reflected on the possibility of a sequel and said, "I feel like I laid it down in this one, and I don't know where else to go with it, so it would really have to be script dependent."

That was before Cage and writer/director Mark Steven Johnson talked privately while on a promotional tour through Europe. Johnson said that he discussed where the character could go in the film franchise. "This is not a slam-dunk character; it's not as well known as the others," Johnson said. "But if people want it, then we will do it."

Cage said he also wants to see the audience reaction to the movie, about a motorcycle stunt driver who makes a deal with the devil and becomes hell's bounty hunter, complete with a flaming skull. Cage said that a sequel is more of a possibility. "It depends upon the reaction from the movie-going audiences," he said. "If they are enthusiastic about it and if there is a good script. I would say of all the characters I've played, my interests coincide with where this particular character could go. I am interested in the metaphysical nature of Ghost Rider and his world. I am a man with an open mind. I really don't know anything, but I'm very interested in the spiritual and the material. And this is the one superhero who walks between both worlds. I think it's pretty exciting, because he's new, and there is a lot of room for adventure with this guy."

Co-star Eva Mendes, meanwhile, said that she isn't sure if she has signed an agreement to be in a sequel yet, but added that she's on board if it happens. Ghost Rider opens nationwide on Feb. 16. —Mike Szymanski
