I thought I would introduce you ladies to my favourite author at present... Sarah Waters.
Ms Waters writes erotic lesbian novels and they are just brilliant.

She has only written four novels to date - Affinity, Tipping The Velvet, Fingersmith and The Night-Watch - but all four are an excellent read.
Affinity, Tipping The Velvet and Fingersmith are all set in Victorian London and

The Night-Watch is set in the 1940's. 

Tipping The Velvet is my favourite of the four books and is set in and around the Victorian London music hall. (Vaudeville)
